The Spay And Neuter Coupon

The spay and neuter program will target unaltered dog and cat owners with proof of low income. The residents must reside within the unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County, and the cities of Modesto, Ceres, Patterson, Waterford, and Hughson.

What Is The Value Of The Coupon?

Coupons will be issued in increments of fifty dollars ($50) for dogs and twenty-five dollars ($25) for cats at no cost to the animal owner. The program will limit the number of coupons to two (2) per family.

Who Is Eligible?

Dog and cat owners with proof of low income and reside within the unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County, and the cities of Modesto, Ceres, Patterson, Waterford, and Hughson.

One of the following documents must be provided as evidence of low income:

  • Food stamps or EBT Card
  • Medi-Cal Card
  • Medi-Caid
  • Unemployment
  • SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance)
  • SSI/SSP (supplemental security income/state supplementary payment)
  • Telephone or Utility bill with low income designation

The new coupon can be redeemed at any local participating veterinarian toward their spay or neuter surgery costs.

How Does The Coupon Work?

Obtain a coupon during business hours by presenting evidence of low income. Then schedule the spay/neuter surgery for your pet with any local participating veterinary. The veterinarian will deduct the coupon value from the cost of the surgery, and the difference of the surgery is paid directly to the veterinarian.

For all Pit Bulls residing in the cities of Modesto, Ceres, Patterson, Waterford, Hughson and the unincorporated area of Stanislaus County:

Stanislaus Animal Services Agency has partnered up with local veterinarians in Stanislaus County to provide a free spay and neuter program for your Pit Bull within the community.

Due to the tremendous amount of Pit Bull strays, we’re offering an easy way to have your pet spayed or neutered at no cost to you.

Services will also provide your four-footed friend a rabies vaccination at no cost to you.

To claim this offer visit us Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 9:00am -10:00am. You will receive a certificate to be redeemed at a local veterinarian in Stanislaus County to have your pet spayed or neutered at no cost.
